A Heritage Restored with Modern Craftsmanship nestled in the heart of a picturesque West Country village, Brewery Cottage stands proudly within a converted industrial building, saved from dereliction by its dedicated rural custodians.
This property, rich in history, provided the ideal setting for our very first Another Country fronts in Ashmore Green, blending heritage with contemporary design. Crafted in collaboration with Another Country, these kitchen fronts are designed in London and made in our Bristol workshop, embodying a fresh interpretation of the classic shaker style.
An Organic and Thoughtful Material Selection
Brewery Cottage’s deep heritage, saved from ruin by its rural custodians, made it the perfect match for these uniquely crafted fronts. Designed by Another Country in London and manufactured in our Bristol workshop, this kitchen represents a seamless blend of traditional influences and modern sustainability. With a shared commitment to quality craftsmanship, eco-conscious design, and the West Country landscape, HUSK and Another Country bring a collection that honours both nature and enduring style.
Available in a natural Ash veneer or five earthy tones—Mist Green, Devon Red, Cornfield Yellow, Purbeck Grey, and Ashmore Dark Green—this range celebrates the tones and textures of the scenic West Country landscape. The Natural Ash Veneer, finished with a clear lacquer for durability, provides a Scandinavian-inspired look, enhancing the natural beauty of the timber and suiting both modern and period spaces.
Signature V-Groove Detailing with Playful Possibilities
The collection’s V-Groove design, inspired by ridge and furrow plough lines, introduces a playful yet refined element as you move from door to door. With irregular linear patterns, this detailing invites a mix-and-match approach, allowing for unique pattern combinations that add depth and character to the kitchen.
