The Artist’s Palette

Created in collaboration with Bristol-based interior design studio Ro Projects, our new collection of painted timber kitchen fronts is rooted in a shared love of colour, craftsmanship and considered design.

Inspired by the Mallorcan coast, the 11 shades reflect founder Rosa Roig-Fiol’s upbringing and background as a practising artist. Her exploration of colour and abstraction through natural landscapes runs through the collection, shaping an intuitive and expressive palette designed to work as a cohesive whole.

Exploring Rosa’s work I was drawn to her artwork, balanced use of colour and her connection to the natural world. Her artwork evokes a nostalgia and sense of place. With Rosa’s interior design experience and wonderful ability to bring warm, embracing colour to life we knew Ro Projects would be a fantastic partner to introduce a new painted colour range of kitchen fronts.

How it’s made

Each front is crafted from an FSC-certified crown ash timber veneer bonded to a MDF core for stability and durability. The veneered boards are pressed, precision cut and finished with an ash edge to create a seamless appearance.

A water-based, environmentally conscious paint is then spray-applied to the surface, allowing the natural ash grain to remain subtly visible beneath the colour. The result is a refined painted finish that combines the character of real timber with a durable, lower-impact coating.

Working with HUSK on this collaboration has been a real pleasure.
