From Thursday the 15th of February 2024, when a customer spends over £1500 on kitchen fronts via a HUSK Design or Quote Service, they will receive money back on their first sample order up to a maximum of £50. The value of the initial sample purchase will be refunded within 7 working days of the customer placing their kitchen fronts order. Refunds will be issued to the same account the customer used to make their initial sample purchase. Refunds can only be made to this account, and will not be made to an alternative account or in cash.
This money-back guarantee is subject to a maximum period of 90 days from the date of purchase. To qualify for money back, the customer must spend over £1500 on kitchen fronts within 90 days of placing their first sample order. No money-back claims outside of this period can be considered. Please note that HUSK reserves the right to forfeit this guarantee should we suspect any abuse of the offer.
In line with our commitment to sustainability, HUSK offers a Sample Return Service for customers who have purchased samples. If you return your samples in their original condition, using the provided courier label, you will be eligible for a full refund, excluding the original postage and handling costs. This helps us reduce waste by allowing samples to be reused by other customers. Please note that this offer does not apply to samples ordered using the FREELAM offer code. The refund will be processed once the samples have been received and inspected and will be issued to the same account used for the original purchase.
From Friday the 15th of March 2024, customers can receive up to five FENIX® and/or High Pressure Laminate (HPL) samples free of charge by using the coupon code FREELAM at checkout.
This coupon is limited to one use per customer. Upon entering the coupon code, a 100% discount will be applied to up to five FENIX® or HPL samples in the customer’s online basket. Any additional samples will be charged at the normal rate. Please note that postage and packaging costs are still applicable to all sample orders.
The value of any additional samples can be recouped upon purchase of at least £1500 worth of HUSK kitchen fronts, under our ‘Money Back on Sample Orders’ guarantee (see above).
All prices are quoted including 20% UK VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time and correct any errors in pricing. Shipping costs are not included in the pricing and will be calculated and added to your order. Should the customer order from outside of the EU, the customer will have the sole responsibility for paying any import or duty fees incurred. HUSK will not accept any liability for orders held at customs. We accept payment through BACS and card payments. Once payment has cleared, you confirm your order of the goods as set out in the invoice. On clearance of payment, HUSK will send an email notification to the client. Following confirmation of your order, you will have 24 hours in which you are entitled to cancel or change your order. Cancellation should be confirmed in an email. Any fees incurred by HUSK will be charged back to the customer.
Our lead time for production of made-to-order items is 8–10 weeks. On completion of production, there may be up to 5 working days extra for delivery. We make every effort to produce and deliver goods within this timeframe. All ‘off the shelf’ goods, such as taps and handles, will be delivered within the lead time for made-to-order items.
We are not able to provide an exact delivery date upon payment of the order. In the case of orders for off-the-shelf goods only, the lead time for delivery may be reduced. HUSK will contact you to arrange a delivery date when the goods are ready for dispatch. Please ensure that you give us a call to confirm our current lead times, as this may vary during busy periods such as the end of the year.
Our deliveries are usually made to a room of the customer’s choice, within reason, by our white glove courier service. In some situations, however, kerbside delivery is the only possible option. If you absolutely require the delivery to be made inside your property, please let us know, and we will accommodate where possible. It is important that someone is present to receive the order and check it over. Any damage must be noted on the driver’s delivery slip and reported to HUSK within 48 hours, accompanied by photographic evidence.
If no one is present to sign for or unload the goods, the delivery will not be carried out. In this case, the customer is liable for any associated cost of re-delivery. If goods are returned to HUSK, the customer will be responsible for any fees related to the return of goods.
As all goods are made bespoke to you, we are not able to accept any returns. If HUSK accepts liability for goods damaged during delivery, or faulty items, we will provide replacement doors as soon as possible. The cost of postage for any return is the responsibility of the customer. The customer must also ensure that any returned items arrive at us in perfect unused condition.
Should any items have any manufacturing defects, the customer must contact HUSK. If we accept liability for the defects, replacement products will be issued as soon as possible.
Our timber veneers are a natural product, variation in colour, grain pattern, knots and markings are all natural occurrences and cannot be avoided. We will strive to grain match where possible but cannot guarantee that this will always be possible. Please be aware of these conditions when ordering a timber finish kitchen, Husk cannot be held responsible for natural variation.
Additional panels added to an existing order may be processed using a different batch of veneer, please keep in mind natural variation and occurrences.
Our wood veneer samples serve as representative examples only. The sample’s finish may not exactly match the final product, images displayed on our website or other marketing materials.
Timber can shift or change when cut, due to this we operate within a 1mm margin of error. The cutting process can reveal natural defects in the wood, which will be repaired with filler as needed. Please be aware that minor marks and breakout may occur as part of the machining process.
As with any sheet material there is a risk of warping which can happen due to changes in temperature and moisture, whilst we ensure that all doors that leaves our workshop have been quality control checked for any signs of warping, we cannot guarantee that this will not occur on delivery.
We recommend that any door over 1400mm be strongly considered during the design process. Door straighteners can be purchased with your kitchen order which help to prevent warping but do not guarantee it. Husk cannot be held responsible for any warped doors over the height of 1400mm after leaving our workshop.
Higher than average room temperatures and humidity levels can lead to moisture imbalance within timber doors, it is advised to keep a good level of indoor humidity to avoid the risk of warping. Husk cannot be held responsible for warped doors when placed in unsuitable environments.
We reserve the right to charge you an administration fee for any late changes made to your order, this does not cover any additional costs incurred due to the amendments to your order.
Any changes to your project once it has entered production will be treated as a separate order and charged accordingly. Husk cannot guarantee that these additional panels will be manufactured within the original project timeline.
The distance selling regulations set out that a private customer has the right to cancel orders of standard products up to 14 days after the order is delivered without giving a reason. The supply of personalised goods, or goods made to a customer’s specifications are exempt from these regulations. All orders for doors, drawer fronts, dishwasher fronts, cover panels and plinths are made specifically for the customer to order and are not carried as stock items by HUSK. As such any order for these items is not covered by the distance selling regulations, and terms for cancellation are as set out within this document.
In the case of orders containing standard products you have the right to withdraw your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. Notification that you wish to exercise your right to withdrawal must be made via an email to returns@madebyhusk.com. The email must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
When using the right of withdrawal the customer will be responsible for any costs related to the return of the goods. The customer is responsible for making sure that the goods are suitably packaged for delivery, and arrive with no damage, in original condition, and including the original packaging. In the case of any damage caused during return shipping the customer should seek compensation from the shipping company. In the case of any diminished value to the goods, either caused by handling by the customer, or during return shipping, HUSK will hold the customer responsible for reimbursement.
HUSK will reimburse you the purchase cost of the goods within 14 days of either; receiving evidence that the goods have been sent, or receiving the goods. Reimbursement will be made via the same payment method you used to pay, unless agreed otherwise between HUSK and the customer.
Should the conditions above not be met HUSK reserves the right to refuse a return.
