All prices are quoted including 20% UK VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time and correct any errors in pricing. Shipping costs are not included in the pricing and will be calculated and added to your order. Should the customer order from outside of the EU the customer will have the sole responsibility for paying any import or duty fees incurred. HUSK will not accept any liability for orders held at customs. We accept payment through BACS and card payments. Once payment has cleared you confirm your order of the goods as set out in the invoice. On clearance of payment HUSK will send an email notification to the client. Any fees incurred by HUSK will be charged back to the customer.
Lead Time and Deliveries
Our lead time for production of made to order items is 6-8 weeks. On completion of production there may be up to 5 working days extra for delivery. We make every effort to produce and deliver goods within this timeframe. All ‘off the shelf’ goods, such as taps and handles will be delivered within the lead time for made to order items. We are not able to provide an exact delivery date on payment of the order. In the case of orders for off the shelf goods only the lead time for delivery may be reduced. Either HUSK or our delivery partners will contact you to arrange a delivery date when the goods are ready for dispatch. We will not accept any liability for any losses should an order arrive later than the stated date. It is our suggestion that you do not book in for any additional trades to carry out further works until the goods have arrived on site.
Deliveries are kerbside only, and delivery will be made as close to the delivery address as the delivery vehicle can reasonably access, the items will not be carried into the property. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that there is adequate help available to unload the delivery vehicle. The delivery driver is not obliged to help with unloading, and no liability shall be placed on the driver or HUSK if damage or injury is caused during unloading. Once the goods are removed from the delivery vehicle all liability passes to the customer. A signature will be required for any delivery and someone will need to be on site to receive the goods. All packaging and goods should be carefully checked for damage before signing the delivery slip, any damage must be noted on the delivery slip. In addition to noting any damage on the delivery slip we will require notification of the damage via email to returns@madebyhusk.com this email must contain photographic evidence of the damage, and be received within 48 hours of the delivery time. Claims for damage will not be accepted unless these terms are fulfilled.
If there is nobody present to sign for or unload the goods the delivery will not be carried out. In this case the customer is liable for any associated cost of re-delivery. If goods are returned to HUSK the customer will be responsible for any fees related to the return of goods.
Returns and Refunds
As all goods are made bespoke to you, we are not able to accept any returns. If HUSK accepts liability for goods damaged during delivery, or faulty items, we will provide replacement doors as soon as possible. The cost of postage for any return is the responsibility of the customer. The customer must also ensure that any returned items arrive to us in perfect unused condition.
Should any items have any manufacturing defects the customer must contact HUSK. If we accept liability for the defects replacement products will be issued as soon as possible.
Distance Selling Regulation
The distance selling regulations set out that a private customer has the right to cancel orders of standard products up to 14 days after the order is delivered without giving a reason. The supply of personalised goods, or goods made to a customer’s specifications are exempt from these regulations. All orders for doors, drawer fronts, dishwasher fronts, cover panels and plinths are made specifically for the customer to order and are not carried as stock items by HUSK. As such any order for these items is not covered by the distance selling regulations, and terms for cancellation are as set out within this document.
In the case of orders containing standard products you have the right to withdraw your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. Notification that you wish to exercise your right to withdrawal must be made via an email to returns@madebyhusk.com. The email must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
When using the right of withdrawal the customer will be responsible for any costs related to the return of the goods. The customer is responsible for making sure that the goods are suitably packaged for delivery, and arrive with no damage, in original condition, and including the original packaging. In the case of any damage caused during return shipping the customer should seek compensation from the shipping company. In the case of any diminished value to the goods, either caused by handling by the customer, or during return shipping, HUSK will hold the customer responsible for reimbursement.
HUSK will reimburse you the purchase cost of the goods within 14 days of either; receiving evidence that the goods have been sent, or receiving the goods. Reimbursement will be made via the same payment method you used to pay, unless agreed otherwise between HUSK and the customer.
