Yes, once you’ve finalised your design, you’ll need to place your order for the cabinets through IKEA, Howdens or DIY Kitchens directly. Remember to exclude the doors, drawer fronts, cover panels, and plinths from your order as these will be supplied by HUSK.

If you use the IKEA 3D Kitchen Planner, you can generate an item list to ensure accuracy when placing your HUSK order. We’ll review your list to ensure everything is correct before proceeding with production.

Yes, we make kitchen fronts to fit IKEA, Howdens and DIY Kitchens cabinets. Bespoke sizes are also available through our HUSK Bespoke Design Service.

We prioritise sustainable and durable materials for our fronts.

Our FENIX® fronts are laminated with a 0.7mm FENIX® layer on both sides of either plywood, MDF, Valchromat, providing a sleek and highly durable finish.

We also offer Timber Veneer and HPL fronts, giving you options that reflect your design preferences while ensuring sustainability.

Our HUSK x Another Country and HUSK x Ro Projects collections are constructed using Ash veneer on the surface, which is sprayed using water based paint product. This is solvent-free and can be touched up over time.

Both FENIX and HPL are durable, hard-wearing surface materials that work well in kitchens, but they offer quite different looks and experiences.

HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is a practical and reliable option. It’s made by layering papers and resins under high pressure to create a tough, long-lasting surface. HPL is easy to clean, resistant to everyday wear and tear, making it a popular, cost-effective choice.

FENIX, on the other hand, is a more advanced material developed specifically for contemporary interiors. It has an ultra-matt, soft-touch finish that feels smooth to the touch. FENIX is highly resistant to fingerprints, scratches and heat, making it especially well-suited to busy kitchens.

One of FENIX’s standout features is its self-healing technology. Minor surface scratches can be repaired with the application of heat, helping your kitchen look newer for longer. While both materials are durable, FENIX offers a more premium finish with enhanced scratch resistance and a distinctive velvety feel.

In short, HPL is a practical and dependable choice, while FENIX is ideal if you’re looking for a more matte, long-lasting and cutting-edge performance.

Our average production time is around 8-12 weeks.

We recommend bringing in a professional kitchen fitter to handle the installation, but if you’re more of a DIY enthusiast, don’t worry – we’ll provide an in-depth installation guide to help you along the way.
