HUSK was founded on the belief that bespoke kitchens should be available to everyone. A Legacy of Craftsmanship
Dave Young and Ross Norgate founded HUSK after over a decade of successfully crafting bespoke furniture under their joinery firm Young & Norgate. During that time, they earned a reputation for designing and making high-quality, custom pieces, built with precision and care.
HUSK emerged from their vision to make bespoke kitchens more accessible to everyone. With their roots firmly in quality joinery, Dave and Ross wanted to offer customers the chance to create custom kitchens without the hefty price tag that usually comes with high-end design.
Quality design with a conscience
Our kitchens are made to stand the test of time. We choose materials carefully and use energy-efficient methods in how we make and deliver them, because good design should be kind to the planet too.
We are proud to manufacture all our kitchen fronts in the UK, right here in our solar-powered Bristol workshop. Keeping production local not only lowers our carbon footprint, but it also allows us to maintain strict quality control while reducing waste. All our kitchen fronts are made-to-order, ensuring that we only use what’s needed and minimise material waste.
We’re always exploring new ways to be greener, from reusing offcuts to reducing energy consumption during production. Our commitment to sustainability means you can trust that your HUSK kitchen is crafted with care for both your home and the planet.

In 2022, we moved to our current 10,000-square-foot premises in East Bristol – a space where our workshop, office, and showroom come together under one roof.
