A calm, light-filled kitchen with natural oak at its heart
Natural materials and a clean, minimal layout give this kitchen its quiet Japandi feel. Working with our design team through the Core Plan & Design Service, Tracey and Ari refined a layout built around IKEA cabinetry. HUSK Natural Oak fronts bring warmth to the space, while the long, uncluttered kitchen run leaves the room feeling open and easy to move through. Our Solid Timber L Handles in Oak add a subtle detail that sits comfortably within the simple design.
The finished kitchen is exactly what we had imagined – calm, bright, warm and inviting, with beautiful natural wood textures and a wonderful sense of quality. We couldn’t be happier with the result.
Storage with room to breathe
Tall cabinetry and generous drawers provide practical storage, allowing the worktops to stay clear. A bespoke larder brings even more space behind matching oak doors, with Egger Natural Kendal Oak internals and integrated LEDs making its contents easy to see and reach.
Across the kitchen, statement open shelving breaks up the cabinetry and creates space for ceramics and everyday pieces to be kept on display.
We’re absolutely delighted with our kitchen. Working with Natasha and the HUSK team felt like a dream. They made the whole process easy and enjoyable from start to finish, patiently answering our many questions, helping us refine the layout and choosing appliances.
A natural connection to the rest of the home
Caesarstone Dreamy Carrara worktops bring a soft contrast to the oak kitchen run. Together, the pale surfaces and natural timber create the calm, bright space Tracey and Ari had imagined.
The oak palette continues beyond the kitchen into the adjoining spaces, including the bench seating, hallway joinery and seating, and floating stairs.
