A former piggery in rural Wiltshire, reimagined into a versatile space for family life, entertaining and events.
Set within a leafy manor estate in Wiltshire, The Piggery is a former agricultural outbuilding thoughtfully transformed by Ro Projects into a space for family life, shared meals and gatherings. Restored timber beams, textured plaster walls and lime-washed floorboards retain the building’s character, with a warm, understated kitchen that sits comfortably within its rural surroundings.
Natural oak and a pared-back palette, designed for everyday cooking and gathering
Through our Essential Pathway, HUSK Natural Oak Timber Veneer fronts were paired with Howdens cabinets, bringing the grain and warmth of oak to a simple run of cabinetry. Dark Dekton Sirius worktops provide a contrasting surface, complemented by Corston Architectural’s Bronze Kilburn handles. Above, open timber shelves leave the textured walls visible, with ceramics, glassware and everyday objects giving the kitchen a relaxed, lived-in feel.
A Henry Holt bridge mixer tap and ABI Interiors Vari sink sit alongside an AEG hob, keeping the practical elements neatly arranged within the main run. Wall lights and woven pendants add softness, while the uncluttered layout leaves room for the wider space to adapt around it—from everyday cooking to preparing food for a larger gathering.
