Located at the heart of a redesigned Victorian terrace in North Bristol, The Church Road Kitchen is a seamless transition between a trendy living room and a functional cooking space. Commissioned by the Architecture & Design practice EJ Studio, HUSK was tasked with creating bespoke fronts for an IKEA kitchen, with a vision to integrate high functionality with sleek modern aesthetics. This central kitchen space, designed to endure high traffic, achieves a perfect blend of durability and style.

To meet the demands of this high-use area, HUSK’s Kitchen Design Team selected FENIX^® fronts in a rich Grigio Bromo tone. Known for its durability and anti-fingerprint properties, FENIX^® is an ideal material choice for busy kitchens, maintaining a clean look even with frequent use. The subtle matte finish of Grigio Bromo enhances the kitchen’s modern aesthetic, adding a sophisticated, contemporary vibe that contrasts beautifully with the heritage of the Victorian home.

Built on IKEA carcasses, The Church Road Kitchen demonstrates how HUSK’s bespoke elements can elevate standard cabinetry into a custom-designed masterpiece. By combining IKEA’s accessible framework with high-quality finishes and custom detailing, this kitchen achieves a look that is both refined and adaptable. The pairing of FENIX^® fronts and the sophisticated Dekton^® Uyuni worktop, with its light tone and ultra-thin profile, offers a striking contrast that enhances the kitchen’s depth and functionality.
