A Practical and Colourful Showroom Kitchen
Set within our Christmas Steps showroom in Bristol, this kitchen is designed to balance everyday functionality with a confident use of colour.
Created as part of the HUSK x Ro Projects collection, the space supports a busy showroom environment while still feeling considered and visually calm.
Verdajo was chosen for its soft, cool blue tone, subtly inspired by the freshness of a glass of Verdejo wine. It brings a sense of lightness to the space, sitting comfortably alongside natural timber and stone without overwhelming them.
The run pairs HUSK x Ro Projects fronts with Howdens cabinetry, finished internally in Natural Oak to create a cohesive and considered base.
Materials and Craft
The HUSK x Ro Projects fronts are made from FSC-certified Crown Ash veneer, bonded to an MDF core. The doors are finished with a matching ash edge, creating a seamless appearance that reflects the integrity of the material.
A water-based paint is spray-applied to the surface, allowing the natural ash grain to remain visible beneath the colour. The result is a finish that combines the tactility of real timber with the durability of a low-impact coating.
The Details
The Verdajo kitchen features a 20mm Neolith worktop in Rapolano, introducing a soft, stone-like texture, while bespoke Sapele veneer wall panelling adds depth and warmth.
Details are kept simple but considered. Ceramic knobs by Byron & Gomez and pull bars by Matilda Goad introduce subtle contrast, while a Franke sink and Quooker Fusion Square tap in stainless steel add a precise, functional edge.
Built for daily use, the run integrates a bin, drinks fridge, and dishwasher within the cabinetry, ensuring the space works as hard as it looks.
