Which Design Pathway is right for you?

Whether you’ve got your kitchen layout planned and ready to go, want help developing the design, or are looking for a completely bespoke kitchen designed around your space, we’ve got something for you.

That’s where our three HUSK pathways come in:

• Essential
• Plan & Design
• Bespoke

Each offers a different level of support, depending on how much design help you’d like.

Here’s how to work out which one is right for you.

You have your high-street plan and want to make it HUSK

Our Essential pathway is the most self-led way to work with us.

You’ll plan your kitchen using IKEA METOD, Howdens or DIY Kitchens cabinetry and take care of the layout, measurements and ordering yourself. We’ll then create your HUSK fronts, cover panels, plinths and any other HUSK elements to fit your chosen cabinet system.

You can also include up to 3 HUSK Bespoke Add-Ons, giving you the option to introduce a few more individual features without needing a full design service.

These could include elements such as open shelving, larders, wine racks or other custom details designed to work alongside your standard cabinetry.

Essential could be right for you if:

• You already have a kitchen plan you’re happy with
• You’re comfortable planning and ordering your own cabinetry
• You’re happy coordinating the different parts of the project yourself
• You mainly need HUSK for your fronts, finishes and detailing

We’ll hold your hand.

Plan & Design gives you more support from our design team while still using IKEA, Howdens or DIY Kitchens cabinetry as the foundation of your kitchen.

Rather than managing the full design yourself, we’ll help you develop the layout and bring the different elements together.

You can also include up to 5 HUSK Bespoke Add-Ons, so there’s more scope to introduce custom features and create a kitchen that feels more individual.

This is a good route if you know you want to use high-street cabinetry but would like more input on how the kitchen works and looks.

Within Plan & Design, you can choose between two different levels of design support: Core and Signature.

Our Core design service is designed specifically for customers using IKEA cabinetry.

We’ll work with you to develop your kitchen using IKEA’s Kitchen Planner, helping you create a practical layout that works for your space.

Core is a good option if:

• You need help getting your IKEA layout right
• You want to incorporate up to 5 HUSK Bespoke Add-Ons
• You’ll receive your IKEA plans, simple 2D visuals and an IKEA shopping list to help you move your project forwards.

Our Signature design service gives us more freedom to develop your kitchen around the space.

Rather than only working within a supplier’s kitchen planner, we’ll create your kitchen design using CAD software. IKEA, Howdens or DIY Kitchens cabinetry can still form the basis of the kitchen, but we can take a more considered approach to the overall layout and incorporate additional HUSK Bespoke Add-Ons.

Signature is a good option if:

• You’d like detailed 3D CAD visuals of your kitchen
• Support with ordering from your 3rd-party cabinet supplier
• You want to incorporate 5 HUSK Bespoke Add-Ons to your high-street plan
• You want more help bringing cabinetry, finishes, worktops and other elements together.

We’ll take care of everything in-house

Our Bespoke pathway offers the ultimate kitchen solution.

Rather using high-street cabinet systems, we design and manufacture the cabinetry ourselves.

That means the kitchen can be built around your space, your storage needs and the way you use your home, without being restricted by standard cabinet sizes or a set number of Bespoke Add-Ons.

From the layout and cabinetry through to fronts and bespoke details, the kitchen is designed as one complete scheme and made in our Bristol workshop.

Bespoke could be right for you if:

• Standard cabinet sizes aren’t making the best use of your space.
• You have unusual dimensions or specific storage requirements.
• You want more flexibility with your layout
• You’d like help sourcing appliances
• Internal colour choice of your cabinetry
• You want HUSK to take care of the design and manufacture in-house.

Bespoke

We’ll take care of everything in-house, designing & crafting every element of your kitchen from the ground up to create a truly unique space.
